In the middle it has the characteristic \u201cT\u201d shaped bone,<br \/>\nthat is why in English it is called \u201c<strong>T-bone steak<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Italian word \u201cbistecca\u201d actually comes from the English \u201cbeef-steak\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In Italy, the beginning of Fiorentina is said to date back to the era of the\u00a0<strong>Medici\u2019s Family<\/strong>, that is between the 1400s and the1700s,<br \/>\nwhen large amounts of beef were grilled to be distributed among the population during the <strong>10 th August celebrations in honour of St.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Lawrence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The recipe we recommend today is the traditional one with a twist. Place the steak on a <strong>baking tray lined with kitchen paper<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In case you <strong>grill<\/strong> the steak, pre-heat your grill &#8211; a certain amount of ash need to be produced &#8211; then freely rest your steak on it, remembering to turn it any now and then. Cooking time is <strong>15\/20 minutes maximum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to your taste, you can grill at the following general temperatures:<br \/>\n\uf0b7 <strong>48\u00b0 C<\/strong>\u00a0for very <strong>rare<\/strong> meat;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 between\u00a0<strong>52\u00b0\u00a0and\u00a055\u00b0<\/strong> C\u00a0for <strong>medium<\/strong>;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 if, on the contrary, you like your meat <strong>well-done<\/strong>, grill for a few more minutes, but never exceed <strong>60\/65\u00b0C cooking<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>temperature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Once ready,\u00a0<strong>let the steak rest<\/strong>\u00a0on a cutting board \u2013 preferably wood \u2013 and season it again with some <strong>Fruity EVO Oil, salt, and<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>pepper<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Fruity EVO Oil is indeed an ideal meat condiment, thank to its intense perfume, low acidity, and <strong>slightly spicy and fruity
